When is honesty not the best policy?

I think honesty is not the best policy when you are caught doing something you have no business doing. You should not be honest if you are caught with another person other then your spouse. Should not be honest if did something illegal that could put you in jail. Honesty is not the best policy when you get in trouble in general if you are a good liar and anybody can believe your lies. But not being honest can always come back to you because you would not like it if somebody lied to you but if you are sure about lieng then oyu can lie about anything.

When is honesty the best policy?

I think honesty is the best policy when you are in a relationship because in order to keep a relationship long and happy you must tell the truth about everything. For instance if you suspect your spouse is cheating then you ask them and if they lie about it then it will eventually will catch up with them in the future. Also I think honesty is the best policy when your applying for a job, and your filling out a application you should have nothing to hide. And if you lie about something and you get the job and if they do a background check on you and find a lie most likely you will be fired immediately. One last example, honesty is the best policy when you are in trouble and your parents confront you about the situation its always best to tell your parents the truth even though you may not like the consequences. But in the future if your parents think you did somethiing but you didn't and you tell them that they will beleive you cause you told the truth in the past.

What is the most important thing your parents have ever taught you?

The most important thing my parents have ever taught me was to make sure who ever I hang with make sure they are your true friends because they will get you in trouble and let you take all the blame. The reason I say that because my parents think that I'm hanging with the wrong age group because they are alot older than I am. Also they think its a negative impact on my life. I think its a good thing to hang with people older than you because sometimes you get mature faster when your hanging with older people. Which I think have gotten mature over the years because of my older friends they teach me how to act mature so I can grow up faster. And also take on greater responsibilities. For instance if I'm going pout with my older friends she always" say if they doing something they shouldn't be come home or don't let them get you in trouble". But I trust my friends enough not to let me get in trouble because me and my friends always take up for one another if one gets in trouble. To close I just want to say that my mother is very over protective when it comes to me and my friends but I still think that hanging with a older age group is good for some people.

1980's fashion

The self expressive era of the 1960's and also the 1970's which evolved into the 1980's
in fashion. A decade marked by traditionalism luxury and consumerism. Many people
were yearning for better times as the new decade began. They were wary of the new of the
of the new gender roles brought on by the women's movement and weary of the political
unrest of the past two decades. And they longed for the safe familiarity of the past. Satisfied
Americans hunger for more `glamour and wealth as well as their longing for traditional
values. Between 1980-1989 American designers abandon synthetics for natural fabrics
and more expensive weaves, skirts, knits, in a wide variety of textures. Also colors take a
significant place in fashion. Even as dress up clothes Norma Kamali shows her successful
collection of cotton fleece sweats separates modeled after exercise dance clothes. Yellow
ribbons are everywhere in the memory of the American hostages held in Iran. Also on
November21,1986 an estimated eighty three million Americans watch an episode of the
of the television hit series Dallas to find out "who shot J.R?." printed T shirts with that
question was in stores all over the country. After the wild and crazy 1960's and 1970's the
infamous 1980's were a step back. Fashion wise as people attempted to bring out the
diversity and the silliness of fashion. Still the decade is now renowned for taking chances
and attempting to run with new trends instead. The most noticeable fashion of the decade
involved hair as everyone from rockers to normal people attempted to grow their hair
tall and at the strangest angles that people could impossibly imagine. Leg warmers were
a great example of a trend that started and ended in the 1980's. Much of the 1980's fashion
was outfitted and employed by the rock bands that played during the decade. The 1980's
saw the evolution of technology as people were fully changed in copying trends strought off
of TV and and radio by the 80's. The history of fashion influences of the 80's including
dynasty and Dallas, big hair, gold, glamour, and glitz. Like the fashion of all modern
decades 1980's fashion in popular culture Incorporated distinct trends from different eras.
This helped form a cultivating movement of style. The look of the late 1970's was
influential rather as the late 1960's. The most conservative more masculine fashion look
that most indicative of the 1980's. while in the 70's the silhouette of fashion tended
to be characterized by close fitting pants top with wider looser clothes on the bottom this
trend completely reversed itself in the early 1980's as men and women began to wear
looser shirts and tight ones. In the early 1980's the first generation of computer graphics
in arcade games produced the popular Space Invaders towards the end of the decade home
video games consoles began to outscrip the arcade game. Also rap music began to break
into the mainsteram resulting in a string of breakdancing movies such as Back street and
movies like beat street, Breakin and Breakin. And Boom boxes became widespread among
inner city music listeners and especially breakdancers. Hairstyles are also well known as
the "material girl" and many teenage girls, sometimes reffered to as Madona wannabes
looked to her for fashion statements. Also in 1984 the Cosby show debuts as rated number
1 in the neilson ratings.

What does honesty mean to you

Honesty means alot to me because you have to be honest in order to make it in life.
Honesty also shows respect for one another and it represents trust. For example some people will often lie to a person they don't respect or trust but if they show that person respect and trust they won't lie to that person. Honesty is a very important factor in life because if you was to lie to somebody and you hurt their feelings. Then sooner or later somebody will lie to you and they will hurt your feelings.
Honesty also has to do with love and companionship. For instance if you in a relationship with somebody and you love each other than you have to be honest or sooner or later its going to catch up with you and you will be left heart broken. Also honesty also plays a big part in marriage relationships to. The reason why I said you have to be honest in order to make in life because you can't go around lying to everybody because you will eventually get caught, Like if you lie on a job application and they do research on you and they found out you lied about something to get the job you will most likely be fired on the spot.
Honesty means alot in many different ways to because the opposite of being honest is a lie and everybody knows lying is bad so if you be honest you will be rewarded in the future. Honesty has to do with almost everything including violence. For example if you are in a position where somebody wants to fight you and you lie about what happened that started the situation and they go and hurt the wrong person. It would be your fault because you wasn't honest about the situation.
To close I just to say you should be honest at all times and if you do it will benefit you sooner or later. and if you do be honest you will have nothing to lie about to anybody about anything. aand honesty will also make you fill good about yourself as a person and who you are as a person.
